At The Pub is an innovative new app solution (available on iOS and Android) created to help publicans across the UK quickly and simply manage the new requirements to capture all customer data for the new NHS Test and Trace service.
Following on from the Government announcement easing lockdown restrictions allowing pubs, bars and restaurants to reopen from July 4th following over 3 months of closure, many pubs will be opening their doors again and expect a huge surge of locals keen to support them. All pubs in the UK will have to ensure they stick to strict social distancing measures and they will also be required to keep a record of all their customers including contact information and details of their visit in case of any COVID outbreaks. This is an admin heavy requirement and may well cause many pubs to struggle keeping up with demand whilst managing these new tasks.
On registering with on the new app pubs will be allocated a unique QR code which can then be simply printed and displayed at the entrance to the pub. This allows customers to easily download the 'At The Pub' app, and then the app will manage the quick customer registration process. This allows the pub to capture all the required details and as then as they enter the pub a quick scan of the unique QR code is all that is required.
All the customer details, name and date of entry are encrypted and securely stored in the cloud. These details are then automatically destroyed in accordance with the 21 day timeframe outlined by the Government.
